Trax User Credentials explained

There are 3 key items to configure an account for a new or modified user which should be defined depending on their function within the project.

  1. Trax User Type
  2. Project Positions
  3. Project Issue Permissions

1. Trax User Type

💡 Trax user types can be updated at any time by the account user - it is recommended maintenance of the user types occurs regularly to ensure data security. ie dropping users back to “view” if they are not planning on returning to the project or event.

💡 A project can have more than one Account Manager - it is recommended that at least one account manager is on site or available to access Trax while the project is in delivery.

2. Project Position

Project position is used to configure roles for Work Instruction - Step Sign Off Permissions Project Positions should be defined and maintained by the project account holder

A user can only be allocated one position at a time. There is a default list of project positions added with each no project. Additionally, the available project positions can be edited from Config → Value Lists → Project Positions.
